In meinem Traum geht ein Preis, für den mich mein ehemaliger Professor nominiert hatte, schließlich an seine Assistentin. Mein Professor erklärt mir die Entscheidung der Jury, indem er mir eine neue skulpturale Arbeit der Assistentin zeigt (die eigentlich Videokünstlerin ist). Ich stimme ihm zu, dass diese Arbeit außerordentlich ist. Es handelt sich um zwei kleine Schaukeln aus feinen gebogenen farbigen Neonröhren.
In my dream, a prize which I have been nominated for by my former professor is finally awarded to his assistant. My professor explains the jury’s decision to me, pointing towards a new sculptural work by his assistant (who normally is a video artist). I agree that this work is exceptional. It consists of two swings made from delicate bent neon tubes of different colours.
